Rivulet Gardens Project
Charlevoix, Michigan
Rivulet Gardens is a proposed twelve unit residential condominium complex on a 3/4 acre site, in Charlevoix, Michigan. Traverse Architectural Group took advantage of the sloping site, and created an underground parking garage surrounded on two sides with condominium units. Above the parking garage level, is a unique courtyard that accesses nine additional two story residential units. The central courtyard is reminiscent of narrow European cobble streets that define the architecture and sense of neighborhood. Each covered entry way looks out to the courtyard "street" to enhance the community feeling. The buildings, using natural stone and siding materials relates to the historic architectural elements of Charlevoix.
