Northbay Townhomes

This residential development in Marquette, Michigan of four four-plex townhomes reflect the architecture of the surrounding neighborhood in this Upper Peninsula university community. The townhomes were designed along the perimeter of the site so that a smaller centralized vehicular traffic flow could be utilized. Existing woods that surround the site were used to form a backdrop for the development. The townhomes consisted of two types of designs and building forms. The outer units consisted of main level living, dining and kitchen spaces with a two-car garage and laundry facilities. The second floor consisted of a master bedroom and bath suite with two additional bedrooms. The interior units has a main level master bedroom and bath suite adjacent to the living and dining functions. Together the two affordable designs created a nice arrangement of spaces with outdoor decks focusing on the woods beyond.
