Located within the Central Neighborhood Historic District, this thoughtfully designed 400-square-foot sitting room and mudroom addition enhances a charming 1890 home in downtown Traverse City. Working closely with the homeowners, we created a seamless addition that respects the home's historic character while improving its functionality for modern living. The project also included opening the ceiling above the existing kitchen to create a brighter, more spacious interior and carefully maximizing the property's allowable lot coverage to make the most of the site.
